Taylored Quilts
My name is Taylor Fillmore and I am currently creating my first business. I love to make quilts and have recently been told that I should start selling them, so here I am!
Recently I have made a quilt out of school-event related tee shirts for a graduation present, as well as many baby blankets and quilts for family. Currently, I am preparing to create a quilt out of tee shirts previously owned by someone very special, who happened to pass away. Restitching memories is what this is all about.
I can either make quilts out of the fabrics you have, or I can buy fabric for you, with your design in mind. I look at quilting for others as recycling old memories into new, and prices will depend on the size of the quilt, along with the quality and price of the fabrics being used. I do not have pictures of all quilts I have made, but here are a couple!
I learned how to sew from the Grandma Joan, who I love with all my heart. I believe I have some quilting blood in me from my Great Grandma Wilma though. I hope someday i can make quilts as beautiful as hers. I own a lot of her old sewing supplies, including her scissors, pearl pin, and pin cushion pictured above. I hope she’s watching from heaven :)
